A man died after someone shot him in the head on Saturday night. The emergency dispatchers received a call about the incident in the 1100 block of the Level Green Blvd. around at 8:52 p.m.

Scott Collins, who lives only a few doors down from where the shooting happened, described the incident as "hopeless."

"It’s unsettling. It’s not very comforting, and I got a bad heart. I got a defibrillator keeping my heart going. I don’t need to worry about stuff like this," Collins told 13News Now.

Collins has lived on the Level Green Boulevard for 13 years. He said that the violence has been a continual issue in the neighborhood.

"In the last three years, I've probably seen six shoot-outs through this alley, three or four houses in my vicinity,"  Collins said. "I'm tired of it, but what am I going to do about it?"

Collins showed to 13NewsNow three bullet holes in his backyard fence. Which is due to the constant violence, Collins said that he has no choice but to move out.

"I hate to move. I’m settled, we’ve been settled. We’ve got everything perfect in the house, how we want to live, but I'm not going not live like this anymore,"said Collins.

Police said that they are in the early stages of the investigation and they could not release any more information about the incident at this time.
