Xiaomi 17 Max was introduced in China on Thursday as the fifth device in the well-known Xiaomi 17 series. The phone was presented at the company’s event in May 2026, where they also revealed the Xiaomi YU7 GT electric car, Xiaomi Band 10 Pro, and Xiaomi Ear Clip TWS. The Xiaomi 17 Max runs on the same Snapdragon 8 series octa-core processor that the other phones in the series use. It features a triple rear camera system, fine-tuned by Leica, with a 200-megapixel main camera. Additionally, the Xiaomi 17 Max has the biggest battery among all Xiaomi 17 series smartphones.

The Xiaomi 17 Max starts at a price of CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs. 68,000) for the basic version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The more advanced models, which have 16GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage options, are priced at CNY 5,099 (around Rs. 72,000) and CNY 5,399 (about Rs. 76,000), respectively. Finally, the highest model, which includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, costs CNY 5,799 (nearly Rs. 82,000). The Xiaomi 17 Max is now open for pre-orders in China and will be available for purchase in the country starting May 25 through the Xiaomi online store. The Xiaomi 17 Max comes in Pixel Black, Sky Blue, and White colors.
