We all know the importance of safe driving. But now-a-days to obtain the fun of driving people are driving at a speed which is violating the traffic rules alongside of taking lives of innocent people. The victims of the accidents can be adults or children, but it is surely heart breaking to the family. This is the reason why Virginia State Police is calling on the high schools across the commonwealth to join in a public safety campaign this spring to encourage safe driving.

The public safety campaign brings awareness in the people about the safe driving and also the importance of traffic rules. The campaign also helps to get a proper knowledge about the traffic rules in the country.

The "Arrive Alive" campaign will begin on March 20 and extend through May 5. It is sponsored by the state police and Youth of Virginia Speak Out about Traffic Safety.

The middle and high schools will get resources like posters, pledge banners and also sunglasses to promote safe driving among teens.

The campaign aims to teach the middle schoolers how to be a safe passenger, pedestrian and also cyclists. High schoolers will be warned against the things like underage drinking and also driving during prom and graduation season.
