Xiaomi has broadened its high-end TV collection in India by introducing the Xiaomi QLED TV X Pro 75, a 75-inch 4K television priced at Rs 69,999. This decision places Xiaomi in the fiercely competitive big-screen market, where competitors like Sony and Samsung offer similar QLED TVs for over Rs 1 lakh. In a conversation, a company representative shared with India Today Tech that Xiaomi's extensive services across the country and high-quality experience give it an edge over brands such as TCL, Vu, and Haier, which sell in the same price range below Rs 70,000. This launch comes four years after Xiaomi first entered the market for 75-inch TVs in India. Below are the details concerning the new Smart TV from Xiaomi.

The X Pro 75-inch model features a 4K Ultra HD screen equipped with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode, which the company asserts will provide true-to-life colors and retain the director's intended frame rates and aspect ratios. The 10-bit display reportedly covers 94 percent of the DCI-P3 color range. For video gamers, the television supports a simulated 120Hz refresh rate, MEMC technology for smooth motion, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for quicker console gaming.

Sound is delivered by a 34W audio system that includes Dolby Audio, DTS X, and DTS Virtual:X, which Xiaomi claims is designed to produce balanced sound ideal for medium to large living spaces. The TV operates on Google TV, based on Android 14, paired with Xiaomi’s PatchWall interface, which combines content from various streaming services and provides access to over 200 live TV channels. It also features Hands-free Google Assistant, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and Miracast support. Connectivity options include three HDMI ports (one supporting eARC), two USB-A ports, Ethernet, Optical, AV, antenna, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, in addition to dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections. The TV is powered by a Quad Core A55 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The newly launched 75-inch 4K QLED TV has a price tag of Rs 69,999, with an introductory discount of Rs 5,000 available for EMI purchases made with HDFC or ICICI credit cards, lowering the effective price to Rs 64,999. Xiaomi is also offering a complimentary four-year warranty valued at Rs 10,999 for customers who pre-order between February 19 and 26, with the warranty to be claimed before March 15. The TV will be available starting February 27 through mi.com, Amazon India, and selected physical retail stores.
